Minor sp 6th June 2009

The second image has been lightened in Photoshop and appears to show a very faint crossband.

Added 8th June, this e-mail from Martin Corley:

"Definitely not Rosy. It looks to me like Tawny Marbled Minor. In my opinion most of the minors can be done without dissection, but only after experience of the variation is gained by dissecting some in the first place.

I suspect there may be some regional variation, so that what works in one place may not be too reliable in another - so I might be wrong about yours.

Incidentally Rosy and Cloaked Minors start to fly later than the Marbled Minor group."

Edit: confirmed by dissection as Tawny Marbled Minor
